Cast and Production Team

Pratima Agrawal (Margaret) is a local performing artist and theatre educator. When she’s not dramatizing, she is a volunteer environmental activist with the Philadelphia Ready for 100 clean energy campaign. She moved to Philadelphia five years ago for the city’s vibrant theatre and arts scene and is inspired by the progressive community voices within and outside of the arts. Since moving here, she has become a major Sixers fan. She is thrilled to be working with Ragtime Players for the first time and for the opportunity to be a part of Philly Fringe for the second time. Katrina Hall (Kandi) is a Philadelphia based actor, director, and playwright. Recent stage credits include Gonzalo (The Tempest), Maria (Twelfth Night), Susan (Becky Shaw), Nurse (Romeo And Juliet), and Juror Number Four (Twelve Angry Jurors.) Her original plays include The Cuckoo, Chow, and Visiting Day. Her play Dyscalculia is slated to be published in an upcoming anthology by McFarland Books in the spring of 2020.
Shelli Pentimall Bookler (Caroline) holds an M.F.A. in Playwriting from Temple University, an  M.A. in Theatre Arts from Eastern Michigan University and studied at The Actor’s Studio at New SchoolUniversity in New York. She has performed with theatres all around Philadelphia including Montgomery Theatre, Mosaic Theatre, Naked Feet Productions, The BridgePhL, Simpatico Theatre, Tall Grass Productions and Swarthmore Players. She is a member of Without a Cue productions, a murder mystery dinner theatre company (favorites include Glinda in The Murder of Oz, Sophia in Golden Girls Mystery and Lucy in Lucy, I’m Dead!) In addition to acting, she is a director, choreographer and playwright. She was a finalist in the New American Voices Playwriting Series in Houston, and also in the Midwest Dramatist Conference in Kansas City. She is a dramaturg for Philadelphia Dramatist Center, and a member of the Dramatist Guild and Witherspoon Circle. She also is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Underbite Theatre Company, producing new, edgy, theatrical works with a social mission. Much love to her brilliant and supportive husband Matt and the furbabies.
Megan Krause (Stephanie) is a rising senior at Temple University, and will receive a BA in Theatre, with a focus in acting from Temple University in Spring 2020.
As both an actor and dancer, she can be seen performing around Philadelphia as part of the InMotion Dance Team. This Fall, she also will be the Assistant Director/Choreographer to the visionary Maggie Anderson for Temple Theatre’s production of Sweet Charity.
Aside from her theatre studies at Temple University, she can also be seen on Temple’s campus giving campus tours as an Owl Ambassador to prospective families, volunteering at the on-campus food pantry (the Cherry Pantry), and studying to be a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
This is her first time performing both for Ragtime Players and as part of Philly Fringe, and is overjoyed to have this opportunity.
Alisa Ediger (Kelly) returns to the stage in her Philadelphia debut after a 2 year hiatus in social justice based intentional community work. She is thrilled for the opportunity to perform with Ragtime Players. Later in the season, Alisa will be performing the roles of Sarah and Edith in Theater of Fear with the Mill Race Theatrical Company. Some of her favorite prior roles include Claire from Proof, Adriana from A Comedy of Errors, and the ensemble of Ragtime. During the day Alisa works as a Facilities Coordinator for the Camden City School District, and in her limited free time enjoys reading, playing piano, and volunteering as an LGBTQ peer counselor. 
Morgan Hayes (Trevor) is a young actress from Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania (yes, that's a real place.) She currently lives in Germantown and performs in various theatre and film productions in the Greater Philadelphia Area. She was recently featured at the Garden State Film Festival for the D&D fantasy short Murdock and Sons. While filming she may or may not have gotten a little too into the fight choreo and maybe accidentally broke a prop sword. Other recent roles have included Eliza Doolittle (Pygmalion) and Florence/Agate Keller (Waiting for Lefty). Morgan received her B.A. in Musical Theatre from Saint Joseph's University.
Spencer Ventresca (Toby) is a Philadelphia based actor, director and Playwright. He has a B.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in Cinema and Screen Studies from SUNY Oswego. He has studied acting at the Moscow Art Theatre. Spencer has previously performed with Gorilla Repertory Theatre in their productions of Exit The Wizard and The Bacchae, Raw Street Productions' Mirror Mirror, and various projects as a Member of the Philadelphia Dramatist Center. Spencer is also the Founder and Artistic Director of Sewer Rats Productions, a company dedicated to new play development. This is his first time performing with Ragtime Players and he is very excited to be a part of it.

The Team

Kelci Schlierf (Director) is a Philadelphia based actor, director and stage manager. She currently works as Associate Artistic Director of Sewer Rat Productions. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from SUNY Oswego, where she also directed on the mainstage. Kelci is an advocate for feminism and social change and believes in making art that reflects that. Directing credits include The Pillowman (SUNY Oswego), Children of Eden (Deegan Children's Theatre), and Sonder's Settlement (Staged Reading at Sewer Rat Productions). Acting credits include Abram in R&J (Purplecabbage Productions), Angelique in The Haunting of the Imperial Theatre (Bistro Romano), Agave in The Bacchae (Gorilla Repertory Theatre) and Mrs. Boyle in The Mousetrap (SUNY Oswego).
Kent Dwyer (Playwright) He is a born, and bred Philly native. Having attended The High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (Creative Writing) and The University of the Arts (Writing for Film and Television) he is no stranger to crafting works of fiction that explore the beautiful complexities of everyday life in a humorous manner. After taking nearly decade hiatus from the creative field to focus on non- profit work, and simultaneously testing how much weight he could gain while watching too much TV, Kent is returning to his first love of writing with “Period House”. Kent also hates having his picture taken so he’d like you all to know how lucky you are there is an image accompanied with this brief bio.
Liz Zimmerman (Producer) earned her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in Dramatic Writing. She has written and produced several theater works including "Iron Fist: An Evening of Horror",  a collection of short horror plays at UNDER St. Marks’ in NYC’s East village (2006); "Beyond the Pale", an interactive soundwalk stationed at Germ Books + Gallery (2008 Philly Fringe); and "Crooked House", a character-focused one-woman poetry play that Liz also performed at Germ Books + Gallery (2009 Philly Fringe). While pursuing her Master's in Theatre and Performance studies at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), Liz was the only non-national out of a dozen writers to place as a finalist in the Radio Television Erinn P.J. O'Connor Awards for Radio Drama in 2007 with her script "The Invasion of Planet Ballymun." Liz has also produced and performed in shows she did not write, including "Eris Temple Cabaret", producer and performer, Eris Temple Artspace (2015 & 2016 Philly Fringe); "Dead Flowers Circus Sideshow", producer, Vox Populi (Philly Fringe 2018) and in the same year "Moonwriters", performer and producer of local writer showcase at Art Church of West Philadelphia (Philly Fringe 2018). To enhance her producing skills, Liz obtained a PMP Certificate from the Project Management Institute in March of this year.
